This book is about a boy named Kii Yazshi who has to say goodbye to his family because Kii has to go to an american school so Kii can learn English but Kii is sad because Kii doesn't want to go but his uncle takes him and drops him off and they walk in class and eventually the principal starts yelling at them so another Navajo man walks in the room and tells them they wont be able to speak their native language and Kii teaches them to say hello and Kii makes some new friends

So for what I read yesterday I really liked it because it says he graduated and went to high school and that´s cool cause means he did well but WW2 happens and he wants to join the marines but he is to young but eventually he figured it out but again the chapters I read were cool.

So now he in training and he like practicing hand to hand combat with his friends but after a while and while he graduates and they have a big party and have a lot of fun so the general  to says a speach they part it was fun and I really like because i like how they train in weapon combat and Hand to Hand combat.
